David Hawkins is a Member of The Magic Circle and one of the top Close-Up Magicians in the country.
Over the past 15 years he has provided entertainment for a huge variety of corporate and private events such as company awards banquets, product launches, cocktail parties, receptions, conferences, trade exhibitions etc.
Close-Up Magic can be adapted to almost any kind of situation. At a formal dinner David normally mingles with guests during the drinks reception, performing whilst moving from group to group and then from table to table during the meal (between courses).
The style of performance is very interactive and guests will get to experience magical effects occurring just inches in front of them or even happening in their own hands.
As well as providing entertainment for corporate events, David also regularly performs at private functions such as wedding receptions and parties.
Having a close-up magician strolling amongst guests at a wedding reception can have real advantages – acting as the perfect ice-breaker and keeping guests entertained during that awkward period while the wedding photos are being taken.
