Founded in the summer of 2004, Duo Cello was soon heard to great acclaim at major venues across London.

Two women, two cellos: small enough to be a perfect accompaniment for the most private functions but also suitable as a different, quirky alternative to the string quartet.

Duo Cello are regular artists for Searcy’s at 30 St Mary Axe (the Gherkin) and have performed at venues such as The Renaissance Chancery Court Hotel, The Queen’s House, the Cutty Sark and Laban.

Clients attending these high profile events include the Duke of Edinburgh, Sir Nicholas Serota, Sir David Attenborough and Anton Mosimann to name a few!

Pippa Rans and Ruth Beedham are outstanding young professional cellists with a great deal of performing experience behind them. They are happy to play anything from Pachelbel’s Canon to cello blues and boogies - flexibility is the key!
