Situated in the heart of Shoreditch, a stone's throw from Hoxton Square and
5 minutes from Liverpool Sttreet, the Great Eastern Dining Room is located
centrally located and easy to find.
The lively brainchild of Will Ricker, the creator
of E & O in Notting Hill and Cicada in Clerkenwell, the Great Eastern Dining
Room is noisy with a young, fashionable and well-washed bohemian crowd.
The
main bar - next to the restaurant on the ground floor - serves as a drop-in
meeting place for locals and post work drinkers from the City. The main bar
provides a sociable environment complete with an eclectic range of music and
drinks including draft and bottled beers together with a comprehensive wine
and cocktail list.
The Pan-Asian restaurant is very bright and laid back for
lunch and packed out every night, proving popular with Shoreditch and City
clientele.
Under the restaurant ground floor bar, the lounge (Below 54) also
attracts a mixed crowd of music, new media and fashion folk. Serving
predominantly cocktails and spirits within a convivial atmosphere kept up by
the local DJs and video art projections. With a capacity of 200 and
licensing until 1am, Below 54 is the perfect venue for large drinks
functions, product launches, music industry events etc. Offering a variety
of drink and finger food options, Below 54 can be hired seven days a
week.
The restaurant caters for group bookings of 8-80 for both lunch and dinner
and space can be booked in both bars for drinks parties.
