Sitar and tabla are a classic marriage of sounds. The combination of both instruments evokes style, finesse and ambience. Ragarasa have been enhancing events for many years with their rapport and musicality. The north Indian classical music they play is traditionally improvised, so they adapt their playing to suit the occasion and to satisfy the client’s requirements.

From weddings to corporate events, private dinner parties to exhilbitions, ragarasa have entertained across the UK and are consistently praised for their product - the high quality of music they make.

Sitarist Jonathan Mayer has performed with the likes of Sir Paul McCartney, Dave Stewart, The Dub Pistols, Ashok Dutta and Sarah Brightman and has appeared on BBC TV. Tabla player Neil Craig has recorded for the BBC, the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) and with Christian Garrick’s Firewire Ensemble. Both musicians have toured worldwide with various ensembles.

Ragarasa offer their highly professional services wherever they perform. Previous clients and venues include One Whitehall Place, The Waldorf Hilton,Aveda, Pfizer, The Officer’s Association, Blenheim Palace, HM Treasury, Crockfords, The Wentworth Club, The Yoga Therapy Centre and hundreds of private clients.
