Asian wedding specialist to feature at national awards
Asian wedding specialist Tania-Tapel will participate in the national finals of the Wrapit Awards tomorrow (20th February) after beating off regional competition.
Staging VIP and high quality Asian marriages across the country, Tania-Tapel has recently spread its net to capitalise on the burgeoning demand for wedding planners in Mumbai and Dubai.
The Leicester-based wedding planning firm scooped the top gong for the centre of the UK, defeating rivals from Wales to Norfolk.
Judges made the decision based on client feedback and a mystery spot-check by the award organisers.
Anita Patel, who formed the firm 12 years ago, said the regional accolade was "testimony to the quality team I have working with me".
Receiving the award at a Birmingham ceremony, she said: "This is tremendous for us because we believe in service to the client, above everything."
The Wrapit Awards recognise excellence in the UK weddings industry, which was worth £15 billion last year.
The event is sponsored by Conde Nast Brides, the National Wedding Show, Brides Magazine and Wedgwood, taking place at Claridges in London.
