Ashlee Simpson rumoured to be planning May wedding
Rumours are rife that pop star Ashlee Simpson is pregnant and is planning to wed her fiance Pete Wentz imminently.
The 23-year-old refused to deny reports that she has a bun in the oven while filming the MTV show TRL this week.
The singer announced her engagement to Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz last week. Reports are now circulating that the pair could tie the knot as soon as next month.
Discussing her marriage with MTV, Simpson said she hoped to have a green wedding that would have a limited impact on the environment.
She remained coy, however, on the subject of her rumoured pregnancy. "I just think it's an inappropriate question to ask any women," she told her interviewee.
The pop star is currently publicising the launch of her latest album, which is due for release on April 22nd.
Her 28-year-old fiance also gave an ambiguous answer to a line similar of questioning, saying: "Some things you want to keep personal and I think that went people deny, it's probably because it's something they want to keep personal."
The pair began dating in 2006 and People magazine believes a California wedding is already being lined for May.
