Julie Christie weds in secret Indian ceremony
Oscar-nominated British actress Julie Christie has tied the knot with her long-term partner in a wedding in India, according to reports.
The 66-year-old, who has starred in films including Far From the Madding Crowd and Don't Look Now, has been with her journalist partner Duncan Campbell for 28 years.
She recently revealed to her brother, Clive Christie, that the pair tied the knot in secret in India two months ago, the Daily Mail reports.
He told the Mail that the family had not had any involvement in the nuptials.
Julie was born in India in 1941 as her father Frank St John Christie ran a tea plantation in Assam.
