Popular British group Take That have performed at a special party at a nightclub in Paris to mark the launch of their new album.
The Circus, the fifth studio album from the four-piece, hit the shops in the UK yesterday (Monday, December 1st).
Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald played six songs during their intimate gig in the French capital, the BBC reports.
The party was held at the VIP Room and was attended by journalists as well as fans who had won a competition to be there.
Aside from being entertained by the singers, the audience was also treated to acrobats, trapeze artists, stilt-walkers and jugglers, noted the BBC, all in keeping with the circus theme.
According to sales data from the Official Charts Company, The Circus sold 133,00 copies on its first day of release and the record looks set to be number one by the end of the week.
