Sienna Miller and Rhys Ifans to marry
Welsh actor Rhys Ifans is to marry girlfriend Sienna Miller this summer, according to reports.
The mother of the Human Nature and Notting Hill star revealed that the actress had agreed to take his hand in marriage.
Thirty nine-year-old Ifans tested the water in August last year by sending a cryptic message in Welsh that read 'marry the misfit'.
Unsuccessful on that occasion, the actor tried again in December by hiding an engagement ring in a pile of presents at his partner's 26th birthday.
But Miller has now apparently accepted his proposal, after the Welsh star tried again earlier this month.
Beti-Wyn Evans, the actor's mother, told the Sun she was delighted at the prospect of having the BAFTA-nominated Factory Girl star as her daughter-in-law.
"They adore each other and I am so pleased for them," she said. "They make a fantastic couple. We think she is lovely, absolutely fantastic."
Former primary school teacher Rhys is now planning to tie the knot this summer and may encourage his new fiance to move to Wales to be closer to his family.
