Sir Paul drops in at children's Christmas party
Music legend Sir Paul McCartney has joined in the festive fun at a children's Christmas party in London.
The former Beatle made a surprise appearance at the annual Great Ormond Street Christmas party.
Some 1,500 children attended the party with their families, dancing along to S Club 7 hits and Christmas party tunes.
All the children at the party had been treated at the London hospital this year.
One person told the Press Association: "Sir Paul had everyone singing along. The children were thrilled but it was even more of a treat for the parents."
Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly and her husband radio and television star Vernon Kay also attended the children's party.
