A London company has found its corporate events bookings are up 50 per cent, despite predictions of credit crunch doom and gloom.
Amazing Events is now welcoming more festive partygoers than ever before, with ticket sales up significantly on last year.
Throughout the December the cast of A Dickens of a Christmas will be entertaining guests in what the hosts are hoping will be London's biggest Christmas party.
Around 2,000 more tickets for the event were released this year compared to last year in order to deal with the demand and the company has added six matinee dates.
The unique corporate event allows guests to step back in time to the Dickensian era, combining theatre with food and music.
It is a great event for office Christmas parties, family events or tourists visiting London.
Adrian Walker, managing director at Amazing Events, said: "We are delighted and relieved that the ubiquitous office Christmas party season has not been removed from the social calendar this year.
"Christmas is the ideal time to motivate and thank employees, and although some businesses have effectively cancelled Christmas, we have sold significantly more tickets this year, with some companies even booking out the entire venue."
