Buff butlers increasingly popular for corporate events
An unusual corporate event company which provides scantily-clad butlers for parties has reported it is bucking the economic trend.
Butlers in the Buff provides semi-naked butlers for birthday parties, hen nights and corporate events.
Despite the economic gloom and doom in recent months, the company has reported a 30 per cent increase in bookings compared to last year.
They are now on target for a record-breaking year while other companies have reported a slowdown in business.
Bosses at the company said they have seen the biggest rise in bookings among corporate clients as companies feel they need to pull out all the stops to retain good clients and keep their old ones.
William Jones, financial director of Butlers in the Buff, said: "What we are seeing with our business is people are being more sensible with their money; they are not spending money as casually as they have been over recent years.
"They are pushing for better deals and asking more questions to ensure that they get exactly what they want. Our customers expect terrific service and great quality as standard; it’s our job as a company to give people a reason to spend their money with us over someone else."
