Call of the Wild acquires corporate events firm

Welsh corporate training and events company Call of the Wild has acquired Innov8 Events Ltd, it has been reported.

Innov8 is a corporate events and experience firm based on the south coast and has a portfolio of services which include conference and meeting arrangement, company fun days and yacht charter.

They also arrange Christmas parties, birthday party events and experience days such as hot air ballooning or zorbing.

Call of the Wild was named this year's Welsh Small Business of the Year, as well as picked up the accolade for National Team Building Company of the Year.

Its clients already include Orange, Panasonic, Lloyds TSB, Barclays and the Institute of Chartered Accountants for England and Wales.

They are hoping to expand their reach with the acquisition of Bournemouth's Innov8.

Geraint Lewis, managing director of the company, said: "We are always looking for opportunities to improve the services we offer our clients. With the addition of Innov8 Events to the Call of the Wild group we now have a comprehensive offer across the UK.

"We can offer a one-stop shop with a full portfolio which includes conferences, fun events and high end learning and development programmes. Innov8 will be a valuable addition to the group and will greatly assist in preparing and delivering quality event programmes for our clients."
