Corporate event recreates the Brits
The Brit Awards will be recreated in Plymouth especially for a large corporate event, a local newspaper reports.
Entertainment and media agency Rock Chicken Artistes is presenting The Brit Awards – a Tribute.
Among the line-up are a faux Take That, complete with a Robbie Williams lookalike for a reunion show, the Plymouth Herald reports.
Meanwhile, Bon Jovi and an Oasis act will also take to the stage at the Wharf, Tavistock – a popular venue for corporate events – on August 28th.
Ellie Hopton, who heads up Rock Chicken, told the newspaper: "It was a coup for my company to be invited to work with this show, especially as I've actually been to the real Brit Awards at Earl's Court.
"Recreating it like this seems a fun way of getting great tributes working alongside each other – the Take That and Robbie reunion always raises the roof.
"With the credit crunch hitting some venues, I'm finding the level of booking inquiries high."
