Corporate fun at Red Bull Air World Series

Partygoers enjoyed a display of sky-high proportions above the Thames during a corporate event this month.

The Red Bull Air World Series took place with the corporate events team providing entertainment and food for 2,200 entertained in the VIP area.

Around 19 vehicles, including four artics, transported Red Bull equipment for the event to the site of e2B Logistics in Watford.

Light planes competed in the skies through an aerial race track above the water in front of 40,000 spectators.

VIP guests enjoyed barbecued homemade lamb and feta burgers with creme fraiche and lime chicken satay skewers provided by catering company Upbeat Event Design at the Chainstore opposite the O2 at Trinity Buoy Wharf, website London Launch reports.

There was also a pasta buffet, while Eaton mess, chocolate brownies and lemon tart was served for dessert.

Kirby Chambliss, an American pilot, won first place, putting him in strong position for the Red Bull Air Race World Champion title in November.
