Masquerade charity ball in Harrogate

A glitzy masquerade ball in aid of charity will be coming to Harrogate this spring, according to local media reports.

The Henshaws Yorkshire Venetian Masquerade Ball takes place in March and will include stunning outfits, a champagne reception, a live band, a four course meal, a magician and an auction.

The charity's Arts & Crafts Centre will be helping to prepare the event and Jeremy Hopkinson OBE, a local estate agent director, will be the master of ceremonies at the ball.

Henshaws works to help those affected by sight loss and hopes the fundraising ball will raise well-needed funds, the Nidderdale Herald reports.

Caroline Smale, Henshaws Yorkshire chief executive, said: "We are very grateful to all the local businesses who are helping is with the ball.

"It will be a fabulous night and we look forward to raising funds to help the charity's work."

It takes place at Harrogate's Crown Hotel on Saturday, March 21st.
