Merlin acquires London Aquarium venue
Merlin Entertainments has acquired the London Aquarium – a great place to hold corporate events.
The group is one of the biggest visitor attraction operators in Europe and already owns the London Eye.
At the London Aquarium, corporate event guests can enjoy a unique and relaxing location away from the hubbub of the capital's busy streets and close to marine life.
Corporate event planners can choose from a number of different zones each with a different theme and providing their own unique atmosphere for the event.
When used together, all the zones combine to create a space for up to 1,000 guests.
It is also able to seat 180 corporate event guests for a sit-down dinner, according to owners.
Following the acquisition, Merlin plans to invest a further £5 million into the displays at the venue.
