Mrs Britain contest to take place next year
A unique beauty pageant event is being organised for married women in the UK, it has been announced.
Mrs Great Britain will be the first pageant open to women who have tied the knot and will take place next summer.
The contest has been devised to promote the concepts of family and marriage in the UK and celebrate married women's achievements.
The pageant will take place from July 27th to August 1st next year and is sure to be a unique corporate event.
Mrs Australia Danielle Larche, who also stars in Neighbours, will be heading over the UK to be one of the judges.
She said: "To all of the women who are considering entering – you really should do it. I entered my first 'big' pageant in the past year and through it was able to learn a lot of things not only about other women from all over the world and the cultures they live in, but also about myself."
Mrs Larche also said that she had become a better person for competing in the competition.
