A new conferences showcase in Middlesbrough is to showcase the wealth of corporate event venues in the north-east of England.
The one-day exposition is to be hosted at the Riverside Stadium, the 35,100 capacity home of the city's only top flight football club.
The Conferences Venues Showcase has been organised by the local tourism authority visitTeesvalley, following the resounding success of a similar exhibition last year.
Hundreds of delegates, professionals and corporate event organisers attended the conferencing showcase in 2007, which explored the range of facilities available to party planners in the Tees Valley area.
More than 50 visitors that filling out questionnaires said they left with a greater sense of how to motivate staff and entertain clients by making full use of local amenities.
The organisers have promised that this year's event will eclipse that success, with a larger venue and more impressive transport options.
Attendants are entitled to take a chartered powerboat from the centre of Middlesbrough to the stadium, which is designed to highlight the city's impressive infrastructure.
The conference is due to take place on Thursday, July 3rd.
