Sailing academy hosting more corporate events
More corporate event planners are choosing the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy (WPNSA) as a venue, according to the company.
This month, the academy in collaboration with sport development company breathingspace, has hosted 100 employees from the England and Wales Cricket Board who took part in an activity day.
The events included dragon boat racing, talks, sailing and rib rides and guests were treated to delicious catering at the Spinnakers restaurant.
A spokesman for the cricket board said the centre was the "ideal focal point" for their corporate event.
Chris Knight, business manager at WPNS, said: "Both local and national companies are learning about the corporate hospitality packages on offer here, including on and off the water activities."
He said the venue will provide guests with an "unforgettable and unique experience" and said the number of corporate event bookings is always increasing.
