Indian restaurant Tamarind has joined forces with Mint Catering to offer the cuisine of its Michelin-starred chefs to the event industry.
Mayfair based Indian restaurant Tamarind is to join the catering industry after announcing its partnership with Mint Catering.
The collaboration will see the restaurant's Michelin starred chefs providing canapés, bowl food, dinners, lunches, banquets, buffets, barbecues and Tandoor grills for events.
Meanwhile, Mint Catering will be responsible for the sales, marketing, staffing and event organisation side of the business.
Rajesh Suri, chief operating officer, said: "This fantastic collaboration allows us to go into the external catering field."
Mint Catering general manager Martin Allen said that the collaboration would allow the company to realise its goal of evolving and would "add a new dimension to what Mint Catering can offer [its] clients".
Catering firms may be required to provide nutritional information at events under new Food Standard Association (FSA) proposals.
