The Event Show bookings 'up 40%'

An unprecedented number of events industry exhibitors have shown an interest in next year's The Event Show, it has been reported.

Organisers revealed that since they announced the date for next year's exhibition, the number of industry figures wanting to attend has been significant.

Bookings for a space at the show, due to take place at the Olympia in London on January 23rd and 24th 2008, are up 40 per cent on this time last year.

"The Event Show has continued to grow in stature and what is particularly exciting is the number of new exhibitors who have booked for 2008," Michelle Tayton, exhibition manager, told Entertainment Technology now.

"Whilst re-bookings are high, we are always keen to attract new suppliers to keep the show fresh and to offer our visitors new and unusual ideas for indoor and outdoor event organisers."

Next year's event is set to be bigger than ever, with organisers increasing the number of presentation rooms, moving from one to two.

The exhibition will also include a LIVEstage featuring unusual live entertainment for corporate events.
