'Gherkin' now open for corporate events and parties
Event organisers looking for a swanky location to host their Christmas party could look no further than the 30 St Mary Axe, the building known as the 'Gherkin' to Londoners.
The Private Dining Rooms on Level 38 of the London building have now been opened for birthday parties, corporate events and private dinners.
It was previously only available for clients to hire, but now others are able to take advantage of the five-star food and service in the building's elegant rooms.
Each of the rooms can take parties of between two and 15 guests.
For larger events, the Gherkin's bar and restaurant is available for bookings.
