Blitz Communications has finalised changes to its management team in the wake of a number of departures, it has been confirmed.
The firm, which supplies audio-visual equipment and services for corporate events, has announced that Munir Samji, chairman of parent company Blitz Charter Group since 2004, has assumed the additional role of Blitz Communications chief executive.
Meanwhile, Richard Rogers and Dave Watchorn have been promoted to operations director and operations manager respectively.
However, Paul Hutton is to continue in the position of managing director.
Despite the raft of changes, the business has still managed to secure £1.5 million worth of new orders since March this year - thanks largely, Mr Samji said, to the efforts of the staff still employed by the firm.
"Blitz Charter Group was established to build a substantial and diversified audio-visual solution and broadcast services business to deliver the best technical solutions for clients, and thanks to the commitment and talent of the people that are employed within the business we have made a great deal of progress in achieving that aim," he commented.
Changes have also been made to the structure of the account handling department, which is now divided into three sections and will be headed by Andy Watterston.
