Eleven top event organisers have been honoured at the annual corporate event marketing show Exhibitor2008.
Three trade show and corporate event specialists were awarded for their exhibits at the Las Vegas showpiece, while a further eight won Buyers' Choice Awards for industry innovations.
Derse took the Best of Show Award for exhibits larger than 200 square feet for having "reinvented a typical booth space" with creative design to create a relaxing environment.
Impact Unlimited was honoured in the Best of Show category for exhibits smaller than 200 square feet, having impressed judges with the "unique utilisation of a small space" and vibrant graphics.
Meanwhile, ExhibitForce was recognised for the enthusiasm and energy of its booth staff at the show.
Buyers' Choice gongs were handed out to firms that have pioneered innovations to help exhibit and event marketing professionals.
Digi International received an award for its lightweight Showbox invention, which projects presentations or graphics, while Kaon Interactive received another for its v-Brief software for creating customised touch-screen product demonstrations and presentations.
Brumark was honoured for its eco-friendly TraxFlex portable flooring system, Display Supply & Lighting for its Illuminated Rail System for halogen and LED lights and PeopleVisionFX for its holographic presentation system PhotoOpticon, which can be synchronised to voices.
The personalised communications tool ExpoPURL for trade show organisers with small budgets earned Experient a prize, as did the exhibit staff training software Are You Game? from Marketech.
And last but not least, Kinetic Business Applications was honoured for its Information Resource Centre for planning corporate events.
