Hat-trick of wins for corporate event company
A corporate event and design group has scored a hat-trick of awards at Eventia UK 2008.
The company – drgroup – which is based in Hartlebury won three accolades at the industry event and brought the group's awards tally to double figures for last year.
Among the awards were the gold for the production of the Sainsbury's manager's conference.
It also scooped silver for supplier of the year (logistics) and bronze for production agency of the year, the Worcester News reports.
Commenting on the win, managing director Dale Parmenter told the paper: "We are delighted to have received these awards. It marks a great end to a great year.
"We've had an incredible 12 months, notching up a raft of prestigious accolades that ultimately bear testament to the fantastic work undertaken by the whole team."
Eventia UK was held in November at The Troxy in London. Among the other winners on the night were Opus for the best celebratory event.
Jack Morton Worldwide picked up gold for the public event of the year for Corsa's presentation of Bandstand steered by Sunday Best.
