Hilton opens Doubletree hotel in London
A unique new hotel which will be perfect for corporate events has been opened in the heart of London.
Doubletree Hilton is an upscale, full-service brand of the Hilton Hotels chain and will be the first of its kind built.
This will be the fifth Doubletree opened by Hilton in Europe and more than 200 hotels of its kind around the world.
Dave Horton, senior vice president for brand management at Doubletree Hotels, said: "As the incredible growth of Doubletree continues to extend to some of the most desirable business and leisure destinations around the world, we are honoured to commemorate our brand's hotel development milestone of more than 200 hotels with the opening of our first Doubletree by Hilton in Central London."
He added the hotel is launched in the "most prominent gateway cities" and shows how the new brand can integrate successfully with Hilton offerings.
Hilton has also entered into a franchise agreement with Sanguine Hospitality, which will see the Hoole Hall Country Club and Hotel in Chester changed into a Doubletree.
