Industry officials awarded at Hospitality Action ball

A swanky ball held in the capital over the weekend saw Anton Edelmann awarded the Ambassador accolade by Hospitality Action.

Hospitality Action's annual ball was held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Friday night, in association with Caterer.

The charity, which was started in the 19th century as the London Coffee House Keepers Association, raised more than £100,000 for hospitality workers.

Penny Moore, chief executive of the industry charity, told CaterSearch.com: "We're delighted to be celebrating 170 years and thank everyone in the industry for their ongoing support."

Other winners on the night included Christine Henney of Rocco Forte's Lowry Hotel, who won the President's award and the House of Commons catering team which picked up the Ark Foundation award for CSR.
