The Great Eastern Dining Room in Shoreditch is currently one of the hottest venues for corporate events and private functions, according to the bookings specialist Private Dining Rooms.
Situated to the east of the City, just five minutes from Liverpool Street, but also within spitting distance of the trendy hotspots Hoxton Square and Brick Lane, the eclectic bar and restaurant has something for everyone.
Its main bar is a popular meeting place for both City workers and locals, who have a broad choice of wines and cocktails to choose from, as well as selection of draught and bottled beers.
Alongside is a restaurant that specialises in Pan-Asian cuisine, regularly booked to capacity for both lunch and dinner. Group bookings of between eight and 80 are accepted.
Beneath the bar and restaurant is a lounge space known as Below 54, which is popular with those involved in the art, music and media worlds for its DJs and video art installations.
With capacity for up to 200 guests and with a license to serve alcohol until 01:00, the space is regularly rented out for corporate events, drinks functions and product launches.
The venue can be hired seven days a week and the kitchen can provide finger food catering to complement the plethora of drinks options.
