Corporate events calendar launched
A new corporate events calendar and trade ideas service has been launched by the London-based firm the Spinoff Report.
The research-based company specialises in analysing investment opportunities from corporate spinoffs across the continent.
Its latest initiative is designed to altert business investors to any equity spinoffs and carve-outs around the world that could prove lucrative.
In the current uncertain economic climate, a number of multi-nationals are opting to sell specific departments to increase liquidity.
Cadburys Schweppes, for instance, is planning to spin off its drinks division next month, while the Mexican telephone operator Telmex is selling its international business in June.
The Global Spinoff Report will provide comprehensive analysis of potential investment opportunities, based on updates from corporate events around the world.
