Millions spent on 'forgettable' Christmas gifts
Britons spend more than £650 million on forgettable Christmas gifts, according to a new survey.
A poll conducted by magazinesbymail found that, despite all our best efforts, our festive presents are soon forgotten.
The survey revealed that just seven per cent of men can remember who gave them what last Christmas.
Meanwhile, just 14 per cent of women said they could remember what their friends and relatives bought for them this time last year.
Nicola Rowe from magazinesbymail.net said: "People across the UK spend millions of hours on their Christmas shopping hoping to ensure that their present shows how much they care.
"However, once Christmas is over it's easy for people to forget just how much thought and effort went into trying to find them a gift to remember."
