New luxury apartments for corporate conference centre
The Portland Spa Conference and Banqueting Centre in Dorset has announced plans to add six high specification apartments to its corporate facilities.
Designed to offer flexibility and privacy to business travellers using the venue's luxury services, the apartments are set to be bigger than a hotel room for the equivalent price, equipped to the latest specifications.
Each apartment will come complete with its own kitchen and living area, as well as a bedroom and en suite bathroom.
Exhibition organisers and corporate event managers have already shown an interest in the new venture, with a view to hosting team-building exercises or training courses at the venue.
"We have identified a demand for high quality, good value accommodation, particularly by organisers of events at the Portland Spa, where our customers need to be on hand for several days during the planning or implementation of major events," said Andrew Coupe, managing director of the Portland Spa.
"With these luxurious apartments, we are in a position to offer a unique and premium service that is both practical and affordable."
The new apartments will complement a new four-star hotel, which is currently under construction nearby, due to offer 80 bedrooms upon completion in October this year.
