A quarter of British grooms enjoy their stag night more than they do their actual wedding, a survey has revealed.
Research conducted by the Money Shop revealed than men are spending increasing amounts of money on their "last night of freedom".
Around £400 million is spent on stag do's and hen nights every year, the research revealed.
While many bridal parties choose to celebrate in a UK city, two thirds of men are holding their stag nights abroad.
Spain, Holland and France were found to be the top destinations, the Daily Record reports.
While a significant number of them prefer their stag do, most men still place their actual wedding day at the top.
Speaking to the Newton Guardian, bachelor James Bostock said: "Personally I'd much rather just be happy and get married than throw a wild stag party."
