'Spectacular' wedding-themed charity ball announced
Wedding parties will be digging out their outfits once again as part of a charity fundraising ball in Derby, according to local media reports.
The Twinkle Ball will have a wedding theme and brides, grooms and the rest of the parties are encouraged to come dressed up in their finery.
The ball is being held in aid of the Children's Trust and will take place at Morley Hayes Golf Club on February 21st 2008, the Derby Evening Telegraph reports.
Profits from the sale of the £29 per head tickets will go towards the charity which looks after disabled children.
Many revellers will be pleased to have an excuse to get their wedding gear out once again.
Joanne Brown, who is organising the event, told the newspaper: "My wedding dress is the most expensive outfit I've ever bought so it will be great to get one more use out of it. I think the event will look spectacular."
