Former brides are being given the chance to don their wedding dresses again as part of a charity bash in Oxford.
The Oxford Kassam Stadium will play host to the Wedding Gown Ball on New Year's Eve the first time the stadium is holding such an event.
An estimated 200 brides, grooms and bridal parties are expected to attend the event and don the outfits they spent so much money on for the Big Day.
The event will not only be fun but it will raise much-needed money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Organisers of the event hope to raise at least £5,000 from the sale of the £50 tickets for the event, the Oxford Mail reports.
Rachel Harwood, general manager at Kassam Stadium, said: "I lost my mum to cancer and she would have been at my sister's wedding this year, so my sister will be here in her dress supporting Marie Curie Cancer Care."
The average wedding now costs around £17,000 and events such as this help wedding parties make their money stretch a little further.
