Stag and hen dos seek exotic locations
Men and women going on stag and hen dos want to go to more exotic locations, according to a new survey.
While Blackpool and Brighton may still be popular for pre-wedding getaways, a study by Release Travel found that exotic locations are increasing in popularity.
Groups of friends are looking further afield for the celebrations, with destinations such as Las Vegas becoming increasingly popular.
Figures from Halifax show that last year 8.7 million Britons went on a single sex holiday.
Commenting on the study, Ben Rodger, marketing manager of releasetravel.co.uk, said: "Groups are looking to explore newer, more exotic destinations and escape their current financial worries."
Mr Rodger added more hen and stag groups are going to places in the US, with Las Vegas and New York growing in popularity.
