A Wearside woman whose wedding singing has wowed couples on their big day is about to tie the knot herself, according to local newspaper reports.
Andrea Pattison has spent the past ten years crooning unforgettable romantic songs at people's nuptials and ensuring they have a great time at their wedding venue.
But now the 37-year-old will be tying the knot with boyfriend Richard Rutherford, who first heard her vocal charms a decade ago, the Sunderland Echo reports.
In the past ten years, she has sung for more than 1,000 couples as part of band Laughing Jacks.
And now on October 16, she will be getting married to Richard herself, but will not be her own wedding singer.
Andrea said: "It feels great for it to finally be my turn after years of watching other people getting married.
"We wanted our wedding to be different so it doesn't remind us of work. We're getting married at a small ceremony and instead of the pop music that we sing we're having rock 'n' roll and blues music, and I'm wearing a red dress because I always perform in red."
