For most brides and grooms, the first dance at their wedding is one of the most romantic moments in their lives.
Not only have they found The One, but they are staring longingly into their eyes while slow-dancing to a beautiful song in front of all their family and friends.
Now new research has revealed that British couples choose romantic ballad Amazed by Lonestar as their first dance.
The song, with its lyrics 'every little thing that you do, baby I'm amazed by you', has been voted the UK's favourite first wedding dance song, the BBC reports.
The tune beat off competition from Bryan Adams' classic Everything I Do and Angels by Robbie Williams to be crowned the most popular nuptial dance in 2007, despite it never having entered the UK top 20.
Songs were voted for by DJs from agency UK-disco.com, who also ranked James Blunt's You're Beautiful and Don't Want To Miss a Thing by Aerosmith in fourth and fifth places respectively.
