If you're a teacher who's about to tie the knot, why not add a personal touch to your nuptials by having your pupils sing at your wedding?
That's what one teacher from Torquay did at her wedding this month. Melissa Jeffery decided that she wanted her Year 5 and Year 6 pupils from Preston Primary School to be part of her special day.
A specially-formed choir serenaded the couple at the St Mary the Virgin Church in St Marychurch, the Herald Express reports.
Ms Jeffery will now be Mrs Oliver to her pupils as she got married to Jonathan Oliver who she met while at school.
The choir sang For the Beauty of the Earth and All Things Bright and Beautiful.
Speaking of the decision to have her kids sing at the wedding, the now Mrs Oliver told the newspaper: "I think they were touched to be asked and I knew they were a talented bunch.
"What was nice was that the children did it during what was their school holidays and their parents sat in the congregation.
"They sang really well and it sounded beautiful in the church. My husband hadn't actually heard them before but he loved it too.
"Everyone at the wedding said how magical it was and they really made the day."
