Catering upgrade work starts at leisure centre

The upgrading of Chichester's Westgate Leisure Centre's catering facilities has commenced, it has been revealed.

An article in the Chichester Observer suggests the project will be completed in late October.

The bar, cafe and restaurant at the leisure centre will be made into one open-plan area and renamed the Cafe Ravenna, while the building will also benefit from the addition of two sports therapy treatment rooms and two new function rooms - both of which will be available to hire....

A new hospital and catering academy has been opened at Kirkby's Ashfield School, it has been reported.

It is hoped that the move will encourage pupils to consider employment in the corporate catering and corporate services industry.

A catering firm recently named supplier of the year by one of its customers has reached a milestone by securing its 50th client, it has been revealed.

According to the Harrogate Advertiser, The Catering People has landed a deal with cleaning product manufacture McBride to provide food for corporate event entertainment at the firm's plant in Middleton, near Manchester.

The Catering People will also stock the restaurant and deli-bar for the McBride's 700 workers....
