Around 40,000 British couples are choosing to get married abroad, new figures reveal.

A slice of cake from the 1981 wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana is to be sold at auction after spending 27 years hidden in a loft.
The slice was cut from the wedding cake originally supplied by Classic Celebration Cakes of Cheshire, a company often used for corporate events and also favoured by the Royal Family. The slice measures nine square inches and was given to Moyra Smith who worked as a cleaner for the Queen Mother between 1981 and 1986. Moyra sadly died in July this year at the age of 78.
